What is car coding?

Car coding is a growing trend in the automotive world, involving software adjustments that unlock features not originally available when the vehicle left the factory. Often, these features are restricted due to local market regulations.
Importantly, coding doesn’t mean rewriting or altering the software itself — it simply activates pre-installed options already built into the system.

Similar to how programming ECU to perform remaps, and how we use the OBD-II port to tap into the same port to enable additional functions and hidden features.
